What is the salon hygiene RATING AWARD?
Salons are getting hygiene ‘scores on the doors’ with the Salon Hygiene Rating Award enabling customers to make an informed choice while aslo giving customers transparency and reassurance.
The Salon Hygiene Award is a voluntary programme set up to improve and maintain hygiene and safety standards within premises offering personal services.
Your salon applied to be hygiene rated because they care for you. They have allowed us to assess all areas of the salon so we could provide customers with clear ratings between 0-5.

Because they believe that health, safety and hygiene is the most important thing in any business.
Your salon went through a very thorough and rigorous assessment with us at the Salon Standards Agency, to prove and verify their level of cleanliness. This will be checked annually for you to ensure all is maintained so be sure to check certificates and window stickers are in date.
Did you know?
THIS AWARD IS AUTHENTIC! Salons earn their hygiene score independently, no help is given to help them achieve their score. So if your salon scores between 3, 4 or 5 they are true STARs, Literally.
