Who are we?
Welcome to the Salon Standards Agency, home of the first 5 star salon rating award. We are a team of salon hygiene and safety advisors and enthusiasts helping salons to get the highest hygiene score on their door.
Est 2019
The Salon Standards Agency created the ‘Salon Hygiene Rating’ because we realised that customers need to know what score a salon is operating at and salons need to be recognised for their high standards.
Our team hit the road to find salons with the same values. Our findings were interesting, we found some outstanding salons, we observed salon owners desire for self improvement and listened to customers preferences and needs.
It was confirmed, that this is the most important award any salon could achieve as it underpinned the ethics and application of health and safety laws.
